UC Davis - Post-Doctoral Positions
The Department of Mathematics is
soliciting applications for a few post-doctoral positions starting July
1, 2008. The areas of specialization are open.
To be considered for the Arthur J. Krener Assistant Professor position,
the Department seeks applicants with excellent research potential in
areas of faculty interest and effective teaching skills. Applicants are
required to have completed their Ph.D. by the time of their appointment,
but no earlier than July 1, 2004. The annual salary of this position is
$50,900. The teaching load is three quarter-long courses. Arthur J.
Krener appointments are renewable for a total of up to three years,
assuming satisfactory performance in research and teaching.
Applicants for the VIGRE Fellow position must be US citizens, nationals,
or permanent residents and have received their Ph.D. no earlier than
January 1, 2006. Applicants in all research areas are encouraged to
apply. The current annual salary for VIGRE Fellows is $56,956. The
teaching load is three quarter-long courses. VIGRE Fellow appointments
are renewable for a total of up to three years, assuming satisfactory
performance in research and teaching.
