GGAM Mini-Conference
For the fourth year in a row, the Annual GGAM Mini-Conference will
convene. According to conference coordinator Joseph Biello and GGAM
Chair Naoki Saito, the conference manifests what GGAM itself
is all about. This will be a coming together between faculty, across
campus, and our students, in order to facilitate fruitful
collaborations. In an informal forum, faculty will describe their
research interests, giving students an opportunity to experience the
broad directions available to them in applied mathematics. And though
the conference may be called "GGAM", our Math students are certainly
encouraged to attend as well.
The next GGAM mini-conference will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2009 in MSB 1147.
