Accommodations
We strongly urge those participants who plan to stay in the hotels reserved for the conference, to make their reservations as soon as possible.
Blocks of rooms have been reserved at two hotels in downtown Davis. The rooms are held for our conference until the June 1 reservation cut-off date. The blocks of rooms are expected to fill quickly; please reserve as early as possible. When you reserve, give the name of our conference to get the rates quoted below.

Single rooms at $89. Double rooms at $85; please make your own arrangements if you want to share a room with a colleague.
- Econo Lodge, 221 D Street, Davis, CA 95616, (530) 756-1040:
Single rooms at $65. Double rooms at $69; please make your own arrangements if you want to share a room with a colleague.
It is recommended to make your hotel arrangement as early as possible. July is a busy time of the year in Davis, with many conferences and other events going on.
Venue
- The workshop will take place in the Vanderhoef Studio Theatre, part of the Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts at the University of California, Davis.
- A map with the conference venue and the available accommodations is included below.
- The conference venue is located at walking distance (about 15 minutes) from all hotels in downtown Davis. Note, though, that summers in Davis can be extremely hot. We recommend the beautiful path through the arboretum (indicated on the map), which provides some shade.
- Bike rentals are available in downtown and on campus.
