Research Focus Groups
The centerpiece of the Davis VIGRE project is the establishment of
Research Focus Groups (RFGs).
A RFG consists of faculty, postdocs, graduate students and
undergraduates who collaborate in year-long research projects
supported by a seminar series, mini-courses and discussion groups.
An excerpt of the proposal describing RFGs
and some illustrative examples can be found here in
PS and
PDF format.
The RFGs for 2009-2010 are the following. For more information,
contact the lead faculty person indicated for each RFG:
More information about the activities of these RFGs will become available soon, or you are encouraged to contact the lead faculty person
about their plans.
