Announcements:
Homework: There will be weekly homework
assignments, due each Wednesday in class. I will post assignments
in
class and also on the course web-page. I encourage you to form
study
groups for the homework and exam preparation, but each person must
write up their own copy of the homework to turn in. No late
homework will
be accepted.
Quizzes: There will be
weekly quizzes on Fridays (and one on Monday 7/7/08, as there is no
class on 7/4/08). No make-up quizzes will be offered,
but I will drop one quiz score.
Exams: There will be a midterm
on Friday July 11 in class and a cumulative final on Friday
August 1 in class. THERE WILL BE NO
MAKE-UP EXAMS. All exams
will be closed book with no calculators or electronic devices allowed.
Re-grading: All re-grade
requests (quiz and exam) must be made within
the next two
classes after the quiz or exam
is handed back.

Uncollected Homeworks and quizzes: can be picked up during my
office hours.
Lab: Math 22AL is an online computer lab. The course is required to be taken concurrently with Math22A unless you already know matlab or you have already taken Engineering 6. There is only one formal meeting time for Mat22AL at the beginning of the quarter.
