Combinatorics in Algebra and Geometry

In the Fall Quarter, the RFG had two reading seminars:

Triangulations: Algorithms, Applications, Structure, meeting Tuesdays 3-5.
Vector spaces associated to Macdonald polynomials on Thursdays from 10-12

For the Winter quarter, we had reading seminars on:

Triangulations: Algorithms, Applications, Structure, meeting time to be announced.
GKM theory, usually Mondays from 4-6.

For the Spring quarter, we will have a reading seminar on:

Toric Varieties, usually Fridays from 3:30-5.

Other related activities include:

BADMath Day, April 5, at MSRI.
Discrete Mathematics and Representation Theory Seminar, most Fridays, 1-2PM.
Student Run Discrete Mathematics Seminar, Thursdays 3-4PM.
