I was a graduate student in the Mathematical Physics group at
Rutgers. I came to Rutgers in Fall 2003 after completing my
undergraduate studies at IIT
Kanpur,
India. My
fundoo advisors
are Prof. Doron
Zeilberger
and Prof. Joel
Lebowitz, both of whom are in the wiki
- here
and here.
My thesis under their direction was on aspects of
combinatorics and statistical mechanics.
After completing my Ph.D in September 2008, I was a post-doc for two years at CEA Saclay.
Currently, I am a Krener Assistant Professor at
the mathematics department
of UC Davis.
In Spring 2012, I am spending part of my time at MSRI as a research member during the
thematic semester on Random Spatial Processes.
My CV is here.
I am teaching 17A in Spring 2012. In the past, I have taught 16A, 16B and 17B.
I will be teaching 135A in Fall 2012.
I have interests in statistical mechanics, enumerative combinatorics and experimental mathematics and any combination of the three.
More specifically, I am interested in
