Text: Thomas' Calculus, Early Transcendentals, 12th edition (efforts will be made to accomodate the 11th edition also).

There will be homework problems suggested at the end of class most days: suggested homework problems. Most of these problems have answers in the back of the text. These problems will be very similar to those appearing on the ensuing quiz.

All quizzes, midterms and the final will be written, in class exams. No calculators or cell phones are allowed.

There will be a quiz at the *beginning* of section each week. You may *not* use notes on quizzes.
There will be two midterms and one final, with dates listed below. You may use one page of notes at each midterm and final.

A valuable resource on campus is the Student Academic Success Center. It has math drop-in hours from 9am-4pm Mon-Thurs and 9am-2pm on Friday in 125 South Hall in which you can receive help for Math 21B.
