CELL Package


The CELL package was developed for modeling elastic deformations and actin transport in the lamellipodia of the rapidly moving simple shaped cell.

The package is written in C and uses UNIX graphical libraries as well as external packages Triangle (by J.R. Shewchuk) and LASPack (by T.Skalicky).
The package provides a graphical user interface for control and vizualisation.

























The package was used, for example, to compute the density distributions of F- and G- actin in the turning cell. The initial and advanced stages of this process are illustrated here.
