Textbook
We will be using Introductory Linear Algrebra: An Applied First Course,
8th Edition by B. Kolman and D. Hill.
Lab
MAT22AL is an online computer lab. You are required to take MAT22AL concurrently with MAT22A
unless you already know matlab or you have already taken Engineering 6.
Description
This course is an introduction to Linear Algebra. We will cover
linear systems of equations, matrices, determinants, vector
spaces, linear transformations, and the spectral theorem
for real symmetric matrices.
A more detailed syllabus, which we will be following closely,
