A little about me: I am currently a Visiting Research Assistant Professor at the University of California, Davis.    My research interests are Low-Dimensional Topology and Knot Theory.    I am an alumna of Rice University (Ph.D., 2004), of the University of Dallas (B.S., 1999), and of Alvin High School (1995).  In my precious spare time I enjoy travelling, cooking, bicycling, rock climbing, and spending time with my family and friends.
