Hey all,

HW 1 solutions are on the web.  The must-hand-in stuff is in a 7 page PDF file, and the additional problems are in a separate file (the additional problems are not as complete: sometimes they're just outlines of how to proceed, and some problems were just skipped, because I think you can do them).

My online solutions represent what I expect a complete answer would look like:  if the reasons for why you reached your conclusion are missing or unclear, you could expect that to cost a lot during a quiz, midterm, or final.  You should try to treat each HW problem like an exam question.

In the future, please staple your HW.

Finally, PLEASE review the solutions online to practice for tomorrow's quiz.  :-)
