TEACHING EVALUATIONS

In tomorrow's discussion, right after the quiz, I will ask you to fill out TA evaluation forms.  These are really important to improving teaching at UCD, and I also take them very seriously so that I can improve my teaching skills.  Every quarter after grades are released, I go and carefully read what students write so that I can improve.

While the numbered scoring system says something, what REALLY counts is where you can write something open-answer.  Your honesty will help future students.  I'd prefer specific comments that detail HOW I can improve instead of bubbling in a number.  All the same, if there's something that I'm doing right that I should keep doing, that's good to note too.

REVIEW SESSION

On June 6 (Friday) at 10:30am-12:30pm in 129 Wellman, I will run a review session for the final exam.  Please bring your questions!  You can come by for any portion of it: no need to stay for the whole thing.
