History and mission

Math Circle was founded in 2006 to give motivated students in nearby high schools a chance to explore interesting math, creative thinking, problem solving, and the process of proof and conjecture. Our mission is to have fun doing great math.

We give our instructors full autonomy over their class design and content, and choose our instructors based on their passion for teaching and promise of research excellence.
