Getting involved with Math Circle

High School Students

Applicants will be accepted on a first-come first-serve basis. We will accept the first fifty applicants. Once the applications close, we will update this website.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

We also encourage you to attend the winter and spring ARML training sessions.

Parents

Getting the word out.
If you know of a high school student who might be interested in our program, we encourage you to print out this flyer for them to to encourage them to apply to our program.

Help our students get to know each other.
We are looking for parents to host mid-Math Circle social events, so the students can get to know each other outside of program. If you are interested in hosting such an event (we'll provide the food and drink), please let us know. We and the students will be grateful.

Graduate Students

We are always looking for graduate students to help us recruit high school students. It's a great way to get involved with the program and to see the high school students that you may work with the next year.

Directorship applications for Math Circle 2009 open in February 2008. Instructorship applications open in March 2008. If you have any questions, please contact either the Explore Math faculty liaison, Tim Lewis, or the Math Circle directors at mathcircle(a)math.ucdavis.edu.

General Public

Come learn math with us.
Every other Saturday, we will host a talk open to the public. The schedule can be found on our Public Talks page. Come join us!
