The Math Modeling Experience is a hands-on introduction to dynamic research topics and state-of-the-art methods in applied mathematics. Through coursework, a hands-on workshop, and participation in a national team modeling contest, high school and college students broaden their view of what math can do, practice important research and teamwork skills, and gain leadership experience.

The culmination of the MME is the college-level Mathematical Contest in Modeling (MCM), held in February, and the high school-level Hi-MCM, held in November. The MCM is a long-standing international competition sponsored by COMAP (The Consortium for Mathematics and its Applications). MME teams have been doing very well!

Parking is available in lots P46 and P44 as shown on the linked map above and is free on weekends. The 2008 MME Open house is from 12:30 - 2:00 pm on Saturday, Oct. 24 in MSB 1147.
