- The following information
is designed to explain what behaviors
are likely to earn you an A versus a C.
Consider it as
guidelines for earning these grades rather than rigid conditions for
or guarantees of success. In particular classes, for example,
an A (i.e. outstanding) student can earn a C while a C (i.e. average)
student can earn an A.
Likewise, an A student may earn an A without satisfying all
the characteristics of an A student.
If you want to do well, prepare to study 3-4 hours (before or after) for every hour
in class. The truth is that the average or C students
study no more than 2 hours for every hour in class.
