Annoucements

Here is the grade breakdown based on the two midterms and the homework score.

Final will be in Chem 194 on Monday June 9th from 3:30-5:30pm.
It covers sections 4.1--4.6, 5.1--5.7, 6.1--6.3, 6.5, 6.6, 8.5, 9.1--9.3.
Everyone should bring your student ID to the final, we will check it at the end of the exam.
I will hold extra office hours on Friday (6/6) from 1:30-3:30.

Grading: Homework 20%, each midterm 20%, final 40%.
Midterm 1: Friday, April 25 in class, covers sections 4.1--4.6, 5.1--5.3.
Midterm 2: Friday, May 23 in class, covers sections 5.4, 5.5, 5.7, 6.1--6.3, 6.6, 8.5.
Final: Monday, June 9 in Chem 194 at 3:30pm.

Textbook:

Calculus: An Applied Approach , 7th edition, by Larson/Edwards.

We will cover Chapters 4,5,6,9 and section 8.5. Please see the detailed syllabus here.

Homework

Homework will be assigned on this webpage, and collected in the class on the due date. After graded, they will be returned to you via the homework boxes in Wellman Hall.

There will be nine homeworks, each of them counts equally. NO late homework will be accepted. However, at the end of the quarter, the lowest homework score will be dropped before calculating the grade.
