Don't bother reading through your calculus text and
underlining stuff with yellow marker. A tremendous waste of time. This is
not an efficient way to study. It is a good way to drift into an
afternoon nap.
Doing problems is the way to go.

Don't spend a lot of time bothering your professor with questions about
what will be on the exam, unless they have completely ignored this issue. They
hate this kind of question, and it almost always fails to provide useful
information. What will be on the exam is completely obvious - exactly what has
been on last year, and the year before. Time spent wheedling is better used
studying.
