To get started you will need the following:
a. A valid email address.
b. A student access code. This comes with the textbook and is good for several years.
If you buy a used book or don't buy the book at all, you can buy
an access code separately. As well as the homework system, you also get
access to the book online, as well as several helpful online features.
You do not need to buy this more than once.

What steps do I take next?
Follow the steps below. Be careful in entering your name on step 4.
1) Go to www.coursecompass.com and click on Register.
2) Enter your six-word student access, school zip code (95616) and country.
3) Enter the Course ID: hass26153
4) Fill in the requested information, and then create your unique Login Name and Password. Its recommended that you use your email address as your login name.
IMPORTANT: You will be asked for your first and last names. Answer by putting your first and last names into the First Name box, in that order, with a comma inbetween them. Put your Student ID into the Last Name box.
5) Return to www.coursecompass.com and log in. At the Welcome page, click on the course you are taking (Calculus 21C Spring 2008).
6) The first time you enter the site from your computer and anytime you use a new computer, click on the software Installation Wizard on the Announcements page or on the navigational buttons on the bottom left side of the screen. This wizard will walk you through the installation of the software you will need to use the MyMathLab resources. Note: the software is already installed in several university computer labs. Check with the lab administrator if you wish to use these computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS (Macs and LINUX will not work) With these operating systems: You can use these browsers: Windows 98, 2000, ME, NT, XP Internet Explorer 5.5 through 6.0 only.
