Required:

  • Thomas' Calculus Early Transcendentals by Weir, Hass, Giordano. 11th ed. Addison-Wesley. You do not need to buy any supplements (answer workbooks etc.) We will cover most of chapters 11-14 in this text.


    Exams and grading:
    No books, calculators, etc. are allowed in exams

    Your grade will be based on the Final Exam (40%), Midterm (25%) quizzes (25%) and homework (10%). The lowest hw and quiz scores will be dropped.

    Exams and Homework

    Homework: We will be doing homework using the online system myMathLab.

    21C HW describes how to set up your account. You will need to have a student access code, which comes with the book when you buy it at the bookstore. If you bought a used book, you can purchase the access code separately.

    Exams: The Final Exam will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2008, 3:30-5:30 PM
    The Midterm will be on Monday, May 12 in class.
