Cost: about $120 (please order this yourself, the bookstore is having difficulties)
Prerequisite: Graduate standing or equivalent level of maturity, some calculus, some linear algebra, some point set topology.
Attendance is not mandatory but is expected.
There will be weekly homework assignments. Homework will not be collected or graded. Instead, students will present homework solutions in class. Solutions will later be posted on the MYUCDavis website for this class.
There will be two quizzes. Tentative quiz dates: April 25, May 23.
Grades will be calculated as follows: quizzes 40% each, class participation 20%.
