Your final grade will be the highest of the two.
You are expected to follow the UC Davis Code of Academic Conduct, especially in regards to graded work (homework and exams).
Math Help: The UC Davis Learning
Skills Center provides free academic help to UC Davis students.
There is drop-in tutoring as well as organized workshops. There is a
MAT 21C workshop offered this quarter. It meets on Tuesdays and
Thursdays at 1pm in 2258 Dutton Hall. The center also has other related
programs to help with math stress, study habits, etc. You can find helpful links at
the Math Dept page, including a list of tutors (for hire). Finally,
the math department has a peer advisor Heather Bergmann. Heather has
office hours in 2229 MSB on Tuesdays 12pm-2pm and Thursdays 11am-1pm.
For more information, check out the Math
Undergrad Advisor Page.
Homework: This will consist of problems from the textbook and will
be due every other week, typically on a Wednesday. The first homework
assignment is due on January 11, 2006. You are encouraged to
discuss problem solving strategies and calculations, but you are
expected to write the final draft of your homework alone. Do not simply
copy another person's work! Homework assignments will be posted here: HW Assignments
