The expectation The motivation for this course is Green's Theorem which will be presented half-way through the quarter in Chapter 6. Everything else is in preparation of Green's Theorem. |

| Homework: | There will be weekly homework assignments,
announced on this
website each Monday, and due
the following Monday. You are encouraged to discuss the homework problems with other students. However, the homeworks that you hand in should reflect your own understanding of the material. You are encouraged to not copy solutions from other students or other sources. Solutions will be posted. Homework is due at the beginning of class. Late homework will not be accepted. No excuses. |

| Exams: | Midterm
1 will be on October 24 and cover Chapters 13, 14 Midterm 2 will be on November 16 and cover Chapters 16, 17 The final exam will be on December 13, 1:30-3:30pm and cover all the material in the course. Sample Exam No books, notes, or calculators will be allowed during exams. If you have unavoidable conflicts with those exam times, do not take this class unless you want to fail. |
