trip through Europe in the summer of 2005 combined business and
sightseeing in three countries. |

burns in the valley, managed to make the best of it. |

again in February 2008 to take advantage of the cheap hotel rates, and
got lucky with sunny and mild weather but snow still plentiful. |

twice in the summer of 2008 to attend conferences. |
 | We visited Huangshan
(Yellow Mountain) from Shanghai in December 2008, finding granite peaks
enshrouded by mist and snow. |
 | A trip up and
down the coast took us through Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and Northern
California. |
