In 2007, Fu and I took an oddly-timed honeymoon to Puerto Rico during spring break. We rented a car and drove around the island, and also took the ferry to the nearby Culebra. From San Juan to the El Yunque rain forest to Culebran beaches to the dry forest at Guanica, we experienced a surprisingly varied environment given the compact size of the island.
