Final Grade: The final grade will be based on the following scheme: Two Midterms 20% each, Quiz 20%, Final 40%. You may see your grades via Smartsite.
Homework: Homework will be assigned weekly on the course webpage, but it will not be collected or graded. You are strongly encouraged to carefully do every assigned problem on your own. Completing the homework is crucial for most students to do well in the course. Do not fall behind on your homework because understanding new material requires that you understand previous sections. Any homework problems may occur on an exam/quiz, perhaps in a slightly changed form.

Examinations:
There will be two
midterm (Wednesday, Feburary 1st, and Friday, Feburary 24 in class) and a
comprehensive Final (Wednesday, March 21, 6:00~8:00pm).
