MAT 21A-A: Homework
Have a question? Click here before asking to
see whether it has already been answered.
Logging in to WeBWorK
- Visit http://webwork.math.ucdavis.edu
- Click on our class: Math 21A, Section A01-A04.
- Your username is your UC Davis MailID, which may be different from
your UC Davis LoginID. Your MailID is the part of your UCD email address
that comes before "@ucdavis.edu" and is usually your first and middle
initials followed by your last name.
- Your initial password is NOT your UC Davis password; for now it is
your 9-digit student ID number.
- Once you have logged in, you will arrive at the home screen. Click
on "Password/Email" at the left, and change your password to something
you will remember.
- View homework assignments by clicking on "Homework Sets" at the
left. Click on "Homework1" to open it.
- Notice that you can now see how many times you have attempted each
problem, how many attempts you have remaining, the point values, and
your score thus far.
- Also notice the "Email Instructor" button. Use this button if you
are having technical problems, e.g., problems with WeBWorK or typos in
the assignment. For math content problems, such as understanding the
problem, please send a separate email from your UC Davis account with
21A in the subject or go to office hours.
- ALWAYS preview your answer. If you accidentally type your answer
wrong, this will catch it and you will notice that what you entered is
not what you really wanted to submit.
- Notice that when you preview your answer, it says, "PREVIEW ONLY --
ANSWERS NOT RECORDED". You have to click "Submit Answers" to get credit
for the problem. Or adjust your solution and click "Preview Answers"
again to check the input.
- Questions? Email your TA.
