In this reading seminar/journal club, we plan to read the papers (both classic
and brand new) on "spectral analysis" in a wide sense, which are ubiquitous in
many applications of harmonic analysis and related fields.
Any participant who actually makes a classroom presentation on a paper selected
from the following list will receive 2 credit units or more depending on how many papers he/she makes presentations. The other participants will receive 1 credit unit (attendance will be checked). The following is our tentative seminar schedule (subject to change).
Mar. 29: Organizational Meeting
- Determine the meeting schedule, groupings of the
participants depending on the themes of the papers.
