Grading
- 30% Homework (each assignment will be 6% of your grade)
- 30% Midterm, Thursday July 9th (in class)
- 40% Final, Thursday July 30th (in class)
All grades will be available to you on myucdavis.
Homework
Homework will be assigned weekly and due each Thursday in class. The lowest homework score will be dropped.
You should expect to spend approximately 6 hours per assignment. This includes reading and thinking about problems as well as writing them up. If you are spending much more time than this, let me know so we can discuss your homework strategy.
Worksheets
Worksheets should be thought of as quizzes. In other words, study them before the exam and be honest with yourself about how well you would do on them if they were actual quizzes.
Exams
As mentioned in the grading section, there will be one midterm on Thursday July 9th in class, and a final on the last day of class Thursday July 30th.
