This webpage contains a regularly updated list of the assignments.
Homework will be turned in using the online program MyMathLab. To use MyMathLab you will need: a valid email address, a Student Access Kit (comes with your textbook or can be purchased online through the course compass website), and the course ID: babson48053.
To register, go to Course Compass and click on "register". Fill in the requested information, and create a Login and Password.
After registering, you must install the MyMathLab software onto your computer. There is a "software installation wizard" on the "announcements" page for this purpose.

There are also some labs on campus which already have MyMathLab installed. They are located at: 1131 Meyer Hall, 177 MU, 75 Hutchison, and 163 Shields. Info on the labs can be found at: http://clm.ucdavis.edu/.

All quizzes, midterms and the final will be written, in class exams. No calculators or cell phones are allowed.

There will be a quiz at the *beginning* of section each week except the weeks of the midterms. You may *not* use notes on quizzes.
There will be two midterms and one final, with dates listed below. You may use one page of notes at each midterm and final.
Midterm #1: Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Practice Midterm (with solutions).
Midterm #2: Friday, November 13, 2009. Practice Midterm (ignore 1c, 2b and 3), More problems (do 5-13 and 17-18)
Final: Tuesday, December 8, 2009, 3:30-5:30pm.

For human help, please go to the TA's office hours. You can come to any TA, no matter whose section you attend, so there are many office hours you can choose from.
With problems of mathematical nature, you are always welcome to come to Prof. Babson's office hours.

The Math Cafe is an informal math group which meets regularly. Although the focus is on female students, everyone is welcome to attend.
