Office Hours:   Monica Vazirani   3224 MSB .  Mondays 3:10-4pm.
Wednesdays, often 3:10-4pm, (but occasionally 11:45-12:30).
These will be "primary" office hours and "secondary" office hours since I'm also teaching 150B, so will have to balance how much attention I give each set of questions.

Final: Our final exam is  Monday, March 19 at 4:00 pm in 123 SCILEC       [which has nearly enough room for alternate seating]
People taking two finals scheduled at that same time need to let me know by March 9. Please give me your name and SID and the conflicting course and instructor for that course. (Your other  exam will most likely then be at ?.)

Syllabus: The syllabus can be found on the official dept website.  A more detailed schedule should be updated here.

Cumulative, but emphasizing integration methods, and material since the second midterm.     Monday, March 19 at 4:00 pm in 123 SCILEC
People taking two finals scheduled at that same time need to let me know by March 9.
  • As always, you are responsible for the Academic Code of Conduct on exams.

Quizzes: There may be pop quizzes in lecture.

Homework: Homework is assigned to give you practice with the material covered in the lectures. It will  be turned in.  It will be graded.  In an ideal world, every problem of every set would be graded carefully.  In the world of budget constraints and public universities, only a few selected problems will be graded each week, and even then, only part of the alphabet (by your last name) at a time.
The assigned homework problems are the minimum necessary to understand the material in the course. Do the problems carefully.
I may assign homework more often than once per week! Working on exercises should be something you do every few days, not racing through the night before the due date.  However, it will only be collected weekly or every 2 weeks.

I strongly recommend that you do homework every day, not just before it is due.
NO LATE HOMEWORK WILL BE ACCEPTED!.
    Homework assignments are available on-line.

Once grades are entered on MyUCDavis, please check your score is recorded correctly.  If it is incorrect, you have until three weeks after its due date alert us to the error.

    Grading:

  • Midterms: 25% each;
  • Final: 40%
  • Homework and quizzes: 10%;   (One lowest homework  grade will be dropped)
  • Other resources: Calculus information of all types at calculus.org.
