Prerequisites: Linear Algebra 22A & Differential Equations 22B, or equivalent courses.

Grading Policy:
Homework will be assigned weekly and is due in class one week after it has been
assigned (with some exceptions). The lowest homework score will be dropped. You
are encouraged to discuss your homework assignments with other students in the
class, however please make sure the final write-up is done on your own. Homework
will consist of required problems (typically 5-8) and recommended problems (also
5-8). Solutions will be posted later.
There will be a midterm and a final exam and no make-up exams.
Final Grade: Midterm 30%, Homework 20%, Final 50%.
Homework Assignments: The homework is due in class on the due date. Problems are taken from Strogatz unless otherwise indicated. In case matlab is needed, you can create a Matlab account at: http://www.math.ucdavis.edu/comp/class-accts.
