TAXI-VAN SERVICE: Sacramento International airport is the closest airport to Davis (about 15 miles away). The company DAVIS AIRPORTER (1 800-565-5153) gives transportation to-from Sacramento airport (18 dollars) or San Francisco airport (50 dollars). A taxi from Sacramento is about $30 dollars so it could make sense if traveling with somebody else.
