Keynote Speakers

Our keynote speakers for GSCC 2008 are Ron Graham and Arun Ram!

Ron Graham is chief scientist at the California Institute for Telecommunication and Information Technology, and Irwin and Joan Jacobs Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, both at UC San Diego. His work appears in many branches of discrete math, famously in Ramsey Theory. As a side note, Graham is honored in the Guiness Book of World Records for having used the largest number ever in a mathematical proof.
Arun Ram is a professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is an expert in combinatorial representation theory, having published over 30 papers in the field.
