Prerequisites
Successful completion of MAT 21C (or equivalent) with C- or better.

Homework
Homework will be assigned daily both from the book and on webwork. Problems from the book are recommended, but will not be collected or graded. If you need to do more problems than what I assign, do them. Your homework grade is based on webwork homework which will be assigned approximately daily. You will typically have at least 48 hours to complete webwork assignments.

Quizzes
For each week there is not an exam, there will be a short quiz (approx. 10 minutes) at the beginning class on Wednesday. There will be no make-up quizzes given for any reason. There will be no quiz on the first week. Quizzes are based on the homework problems.

Exams
We will have two midterm exams during the quarter and a comprehensive final exam. Make-up exams will only be given for university excused absences and must be arranged in advance with the TA and the instructor. The exam dates are given below so plan accordingly.
Midterm 1
Wednesday, April 20th
Midterm 2
Wednesday, May, 18th
Final Exam
Saturday, June 4th, 10:30-12:30 AM

Grading
Your grade will be based on your performance on homework, quizzes, midterms, and the final.  The weights for each of these are as follows:
