"From [Grothendieck], I have also learned not to take glory in the difficulty of a proof: difficulty means we have not understood. The idea is to be able to paint a landscape in which the proof is obvious."
-Pierre Deligne, Theorie des topos et cohomologie etale des schemas.
I am a doctoral researcher at the UC Davis Department of Mathematics. My mathematical interests include representation theory and algebraic combinatorics.
I will graduate in June. In July I will begin a 2-year postdoc in the Pattern Analysis Lab at Colorado State University. I will be working on projects:
investigating compressive sensing algorithms for hyperspectral and LIDAR imaging applications as part of a university-industry team.
