Prerequisite: MAT 16B, 17B, or 21B
This course will mostly follow the department syllabus

### Grades

There will be 9 quizzes, with the lowest two scores dropped. Homework will be assigned, but not collected. There will be one midterm (on August 21) and a cumulative final exam (on the last day of class, September 11).

Final grades will be curved only if necessary, and will determined in the following way:

### Class Policies

There will be no make-up quizzes or exams, except in extreme cases. Anyone caught cheating will receive a zero on whatever they were cheating on. Getting caught cheating a second time will result in failing the course.
