Grading
              Homework:        25%
              Midterm Exam:   30%       Monday, October 31, 10:00 - 10:50 AM
              Final Exam:        45%       Wednesday, December 14, 4:00 - 6:00 PM

The class will be graded on a curve. The highest 20% of grades in the class will be
assigned As, the next 35% will get Bs, the next 35-40% will get Cs. However, if your
grade is above 60%, 75%, or 90%, then you are guaranteed to receive C, B, or A,
respectively.

Prerequisites:   Students will be dropped from the course if they have not passed
MATH 12 with at least a C    OR   passed math 16A with at least a C-   OR   received
a score of at least 30 on the Pre-Calculus Diagnostic Exam and at least a 2 on the
trigonometric component of the Exam.
