This workshop is cosponsored by the National Science Foundation. Ivan Penkov is the local organizer for this workshop. These workshops meet at various University of California campuses (or occasionally at other universities in the western United States) for one weekend every few months during the academic year. The purpose of the program is to communicate results and ideas rather than to deliver polished presentations. The program also serves to acquaint graduate students in this area with a range of researchers in Lie theory and representation theory. The workshop talks will take place in room 268 of the Surge Building on the UCR campus.
