About me

I'm a Krener Assistant Professor at UC Davis. Prior to Davis, I spent a year at UBC. I completed my Ph.D. at UC Berkeley in December, 2011, working with Constantin Teleman.

My core research interests are in representation theory, geometry, and algebraic combinatorics. Outside of those areas, I'm very interested in applications, especially in mathematical physics. In between grad and undergrad, I was able to spend 8 months working at IQC, and I've published a couple of papers in quantum information.

Current research

A publication list can be found on my research page.

Some topics I'm currently thinking about:

  • Kac-Moody algebras and current algebras
  • Lie algebra cohomology
  • Geometry of Schubert varieties
  • Combinatorics of Coxeter groups and Bruhat intervals
