I am Xiaochen Liu, a third-year PhD student studying pure mathematics at the University of California, Davis. I will specialize in some areas relating to probability theory, such as random matrices or random walks on graph.
Before coming to Davis, I received my Master of Science in Statistics from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. I completed my undergraduate study in statistics from the School of Mathematical Sciences at Beijing Normal University, China. Before that, I attended Beijing No.4 High School.
