Getting to Davis

The most convenient airport is Sacramento which is 30 minutes by car from the Davis campus. The Davis Airporter limousine service runs between Davis and the Sacramento airport, and costs around $25. Uber and Lyft are also available at Sacramento airport.

If you are arriving to San Francisco airport (SFO), you may take BART to Richmond, followed by an Amtrak train to Davis: link . If you are arriving to Oakland airport (OAK), you can also take Amtrak from Oakland Coliseum station which is close to the airport. Davis Airporter also serves Bay Area airports, but you might need to reserve it well in advance.

If you are driving to Davis, visitor parking lot 47 is the closest parking lot to the Department of Mathematics and is located southwest of the Mathematical Sciences Building.

There is a variety of restaurants in downtown Davis: link . Among other attractions are UC Davis Arboretum , several galleries featuring local artists, and farmers market with live music on Wednesday.
