Textbook
The textbook for the course is "Calculus For Biology and Medicine (3rd Edition)" by Claudia Neuhauser.
Final Exam
Final Exam will be on Wednesday, December 13, 810am. It will cover all material in sections 10 and 11 of the textbook.

Midterm 2
Midterm 2 will be on Wednesday, November 15. It will cover sections 10.611.1 of the textbook: eigenvalues and eigenvectors, critical points of functions and linear systems of differential equations.

Midterm 1
Midterm 1 will be on Monday, October 23. It will cover sections 10.110.6.1 of the textbook: contour and surface plots, limits, partial derivatives, tangent planes, linearization, gradient and directional derivatives, implicit differentiation, critical points.

Final grade and exams
There will be two midterms on Monday, October 23 and Wednesday, November 15.
The Final will be on Wednesday, December 13, 810am.
The final grade is based on your grades for the homework, midterms and the final:

The homework should be handed in before the start of Friday lecture.
It must be legible, and written in connected sentences that explains what you are doing.
Just the answer (whether correct or not) is not enough.

Homework should be handed in on time, late homework will not be graded.
Though it is fine to discuss the HW problems with others, you must always write up
the solutions in your own words. Copying will be penalized. Of course, in the exams
you must work on your own: no calculators, textbooks etc will be allowed.
