Research
Andrew is interested in algebraic combinatorics. Some particular
things that interest him are matroids, combinatorial representation
theory and the cyclic sieving phenomenon. He is happiest when the he
is studying matroids by associating algebraic objects to them. Lately
he was been studying the Whitney algebra of a matroid in terms of
letter-place algebras.
