PRE-SIX LECTURER POSITIONS

Department of Mathematics - UC Davis

The Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Davis anticipates one or more openings for pre-six lecturers for its undergraduate courses during the 2024-2025 academic year, contingent upon the instructional needs of the department. The courses to be taught may include introductory calculus as well as other undergraduate courses. 

Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in mathematics or related field and have prior experience teaching mathematics (preferably at the college/university level). A reasonable estimate for this position is between $66,259 and $72,404. Percentage of appointment is dependent on course needs. These positions are covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Applicants internal to the UC Davis Department of Mathematics who had an appointment in 2023-24, have expressed interest in renewing their appointment, and are eligible for the appointment extension will be considered prior to other applicants.
