Description
This talk is an introduction to the mathematics of quantum
computing. We'll discuss how quantum computing differs from classical
computing, some interesting problems which hint to the potential
strength of quantum computing, and some research problems about
quantum computation of a Fourier transform on different algebraic
structures.
