Description
Weyl quantization provides a useful tool in the study of quantum chaos.
In this talk I will describe basic ideas of Weyl quantization and how it
can be applied to quantize classical systems with compact phase spaces.
As an example I will discuss in some details the quantization of cat maps,
which constitute a typical class of chaotic dynamical systems.
