Ladder type estimates for the Navier-Stokes equations

We introduce various ladder type methods for estimating higher order derivatives of solutions of the Navier-Stokes system. Applications include bounds on the higher order norms in terms of the Grashof and Reynolds numbers, as well as estimates on the time decay rates for the Navier-Stokes system with gradient forces.
