Remarks on Poincare-Einstein metrics

Optimization

Speaker: Rafe Mazzeo, Stanford University
Location: 1130 Hart
Start time: Thu, Apr 5 2001, 4:10PM

This talk will be a survey of a number of recent results, both analytic and geometric, by various mathematicians concerning the existence and nature of asymptotically hyperbolic Einstein metrics. Other related canonical metric problems will also be discussed. The focus will be on viewing these as asymptotic boundary problems.
